The Rutherford Labor Day Fair is the longest running street fair in New Jersey and attracts upwards of 40,000 people. The region's largest one day antique and craft fair returns for its 44th year on Monday, September 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hundreds of vendors will be participating this year. Musical entertainment on several stages, food from around the world, local art association gallery, children's activities, and more.

Joining Lise will be musical director Russ Kassoff. Mr. Kassoff’s eclectic and varied recording career includes touring as pianist to Frank Sinatra by request from including The Ultimate Event tour televised nationally on PBS featuring Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin, and Liza Minnelli. Russ also served as Liza's pianist/accompanist from '82-'01 and as Minnelli's music director and conductor. In addition Russ has accompanied a multi-varied list of performers including: Steve Allen, Paul Anka, Tony Bennett, Barry Manilow,  Susannah McCorkle, Maureen McGovern, Vincent Minnelli, Ginger Rogers and Carly Simon. For more information about Russ Kassoff, please visit his website.

On bass will be Bassist/composer and songsmith Jay Leonhart. Jay Leonhart has been named the Outstanding Bassist In the Recording Industry three times and is always mentioned when the discussion turns to BEST bass players in the biz. Jay has played with the likes of Judy Garland, Duke Ellington, Thad Jones, Buddy Rich, Jim Hall, Peggy Lee, Mel Torme, Marian McPartland, Kenny Barron, Sting, James Taylor, Papa Joe Jones, Roy Eldridge, Jim Hall, Louie Bellson, Dick Hyman, Luciano Pavoratti, and many more. Jay also writes and sings his own very individualistic songs about his life as a bass player. And you can be sure, I’ll be asking Jay to sing a few of his amazing and witty compositions! Click here to visit Jay's website.
